The Rich Legacy of Family and Farming at Shucknall Court is what makes it so special

Shucknall Court was once a working farm that specialised in hops, apples and the breeding and exportation of the famous Herefordshire cattle. The previous farming family held sales for the breeding stock here at Shucknall and the cattle would be sold and sent as far afield as America.

In more recent years, the house has been lovingly restored by Gary and Alison Baugh and is now run as an exclusive use house stay,  corporate hire and events. Their daughters Faye and Josie have also joined the business helping to ensure each guest has a special stay no matter what its purpose might be.

The barns and farm buildings have also been renovated to create a range of business, conference and event spaces for small businesses and artisans.

So many guests love Shucknall for the beautiful and extensive gardens and grounds which are impeccably maintained by Cy, the Estate Manager, and Kim, the Head Gardener. They both do an incredible job keeping it looking stunning season in and season out, right down to the new cutting garden recently created to provide fresh cut flowers for all our guests on arrival.
